A lady in front of me stood up to dance and within seconds, a security guard came running over and yelled at her to sit down. We found our seats and immediately noticed a higher than usual security presence, all lined up on stools in front of the stage glaring at the crowd. I thought 'no big deal.when the show starts, we'll all be standing anyways & I'll have a perfect view'. Everything changed last night when I spent extra money for a ticket close to the stage and off to the left where my view was blocked by speakers and lighting equipment. It's always been my favorite venue - until now. I was really happy with the recent remodel of the restrooms and the concession areas and looked forward to more events here. I spend way too much money on concert tickets and I have attended a number of shows here and it's absolutely beautiful. I truly don't think Sandia wants to alienate all of these patrons as they will miss out on making money. If they do not change their policy, or implement some sort of system where they have sections for sitting or standing only (and inform everyone of the policy prior to purchasing tickets), I will not be back.īy the way, it has been my experience that the people who stand and dance at concerts are the ones who spend money at the concessions, bars and merch booth. Well, I also paid good money for my ticket and want to dance.especially to dance music!

I was told that people paid 'good money' for their tickets and want to see the show. A group of us finally got out to the venue and were happy with the remodel of the venue.better concessions and bathrooms! Although these updates are nice, the venue's new policy of 'no standing or dancing' is absolutely ridiculous. I spend alot of money on concert tickets every year, but it just happened to be that most of them were not at Sandia this year.
